1949 Roto Finish Italiana is founded, with the aim of introducing the mass cleaning and deburring systems of Roto Finish Kalamazoo Mich., Usa, on to the Italian market.

1960's In the 1960's the production programme was widened and deburring technology was joined by metal washing, degreasing and phosphatizing technologies: the Tecnofinish Plants Division was established.

1965 Tecnofinish produces the first spray degreasing plant with cleaning paste and water-based solutions, eliminating the use of solvents.

1970 The Plants Division launches the first automatic powder painting line, including pre-treatment with water-based detergents.

1985 The Division becomes autonomous: Tecnofirma SpA is incorporated, concentrating its activity in the field of industrial washing and painting

1992 Tecnofirma SpA obtains the UNI EN ISO 9001 Quality System certification. This is a major achievement as it is the first company in Italy to gain the recognition in the Plants and Machinery for Surface Treatment sector.

1990-'99 Tecnofirma broadens its horizons with a policy of acquisitions and holdings in companies operating in the same field, with the aim of taking on the global market with the energy necessary to continue as a protagonist.

1998 The policy of acquisitions developed in the past decade by Tecnofirm takes on a more accurate profile: TT Tecnofirma Team is created, the holding company of a group which in the last financial year recorded sales for a total of Euro 32 million and has a total of 140 employees.

1999 In Parma the first carbon dioxide washing plant, designed in the United States' laboratories, is presented in a world preview. This is the most recent and significant contribution by Tecnofirma to the development of ecological solutions for human and environmental protection.

2000 The Tecnofirma personnel is strengthened through the support of a team of technicians coming from the automotive coating

2000 Tecnofirma launchs on the market the first robotized washing machines with high pressure deburring (500-700 bar)

2002 Tecnofirma implements the first Flowcoating Plant for head lamps and parabolas painting for CAR with IR/UV polymerization

2003 Tecnofirma launchs on the market the first impregnation Plant for electric motors

2004 Tecnofirma receives from Anima the testimonial merit with gold metal for the constant successful performance of its production in Italy and abroad

2005 To the high pressure deburring is bound the mechanical deburring with tools change. In the Plants with rotating tables is integrated the under-vacuum drying.

2006 The Washing Division implements for the first time the Multiwash Extreme Model, is the hydrokinetic washing machine with under-vacuum drying
