Most Frequently Asked Questions

1) I need a machine to wash the component XYZ, can you suggest a solution.
This is obviously the first approach by someone interested in a machine of the sector. With this question, for an idea of the solution being looked for, we need to know the washing process necessary for a particular component. For a quick reply, although indicative and general, some important information has to be supplied, answering these questions:
- What do I produce?
Describe the component to be treated, providing a sample or at least a photograph or a drawing.
- How much do I produce?
It is important to have information on the production: quantity of the part produced in one hour, in a day, in a month, in a year.
- Washing: What do I have to remove from the component?
The type of pollutant to be removed and the remaining cleaning required has to be known
- Painting: What type of painting do I desire for my component?
Powder, liquid, cataphoresis...
- What is the next operation that the component is subject to?
Further treatment, assembly, packaging, warehouse...
At this stage it is possible to provide you with an idea of the solution you are looking for. To go a further step ahead, in order to identify the specific process you need, more specific information and data will then have to be supplied.

2) How much will it cost me to run and maintain the XYZ machine? Tecnofirma has always tried to find solutions to reduce this type of cost. As far as maintenance costs are concerned, these are lowered when the choice is made to mount on to the machine quality components and to opt for engineering solutions that make ordinary maintenance easy. Therefore the message is: invest a little more now to save tomorrow. These are choices of strategy. And the same goes for the running costs: if I invest in more advanced solutions today, I will spend less tomorrow, and vice versa.

3) What extra guarantees can a certified company offer me?
A certified company is a company that is well organized. Quality certification shows that the company has attained a good degree of internal organization, that allows it to give full satisfaction to the client at every stage of business: from production to sale, from installation to personnel training, after-sales assistance, continuous updating on what is new... It also means that for every enquiry the company's telephone operator will immediately know who to put you through to, making you save time.

4) When can we speak about a good machine or the ideal machine?
The ideal machine does not exist in our sector. It would be like talking about the ideal dress, which does not exist because everyone needs specific shapes, specific colours... The machine made to measure for the client exists, developed and produced according to the client's specific requirements. To obtain this, an excellent relationship has to be established between the client and the commercial engineer of the company. The designer has to combine his experience with the client's daily experience so that the final machine is capable of meeting the specific requirements of the case. At times the characteristics of the components to be treated and the location of the machine in the production line allow choosing between two or three alternative solutions. At other times, logistic reasons or reasons linked to the particular conformation of the component direct the choice towards a compulsory solution. In both cases, identification of the machine necessary is a very delicate process which requires professionalism, experience and the availability of a complete range of products.

5) Why choose a Tecnofirma machine?
Tecnofirma does not have the monopoly of the sector, it is not the only company producing washing and painting machines in Italy or abroad. However, it is recognized all over the world for two characteristics which make it a point of reference for those wishing to rapidly solve a problem in the sector of surface treatment. a) Completeness and extreme diversification of the production range b) Personalized relations with the client As far as production today is concerned, Tecnofirma is capable of offering its clients the whole range of solutions achieved in the field of washing and painting. This allows it to immediately supply clients with the objectively best solution to solve their problems. As far as relations are concerned, Tecnofirma, thanks to an increasingly numerous team, which today has 50 units, has the possibility of establishing direct relations with each client. These relations start with the first visit to make acquaintance and then last all life long, of the machine and of the people.

6) Should I buy a stainless steel or an iron machine?
The answer to this question depends on the average life expected from the machine. For how long would I want the machine to work continuously? The performances of the machines are identical, whether they are made of stainless steel or iron. The stainless steel solution, more expensive, will guarantee a longer life for your machine. The choice is up to you.
